The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), supporting the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) and in cooperation with the Ministry of External Affairs of India, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mexico and the Government of Jalisco, is organizing the Seventh India-Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) Conclave in Guadalajara, Mexico, on 28 and 29 november 2016.

Between India and Latin America and the Caribbean, there are important linkages in terms of trade, foreign direct investment and the potential for south-south cooperation. The growting economic relationship between the two has entered a new phase of cooperation, thanks to the new investments and joint projects. This Conclave intends to fortify these interactions. High-level government representatives from various countries will participate, as well as a considerable delegation from India, complemented with a range of entrepeneurs looking for new opportunities.
