EU-LAC Digital Alliance High-Level Policy Dialogues

The EU-LAC Digital Alliance High-Level Policy Dialogues on Connectivity and Artificial Intelligence (AI) will take place from November 5-6, 2024, at the ECLAC headquarters in Santiago, Chile. 
Co-chaired by the European Union and the Republic of Chile, these bi-regional dialogues will gather high-level government officials, private sector representatives, civil society, and academia from Latin America and the Caribbean (LAC) and the EU and its Member States. 
The dialogues will contribute to exchanging experiences, highlighting good practices from both LAC and the EU, and promoting convergence on key focus areas in the connectivity and AI field. 
They aim to work towards a common understanding of joint bi-regional priorities, develop a roadmap for future actions, and agree on concrete activities and deliverables ahead of the 2025 EU-CELAC Summit. 
The two parallel dialogues on AI and connectivity will further strengthen synergies with the 9th eLAC Ministerial Conference on November 7-8, hosted by the Government of Chile.
