Participation
The purpose of the training is to promote the implementation of the Escazú Agreement and provide conceptual tools for understanding and implementing the Treaty, focusing on its principles, rights, and obligations, as well as its application in Argentina and, particularly, in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires.
The initiative is part of the commemoration of the "National Day of Environmental Awareness" established by Law No. 24,605, which aims to strengthen critical reflection and institutional commitment to environmental protection.
The event will take place on September 23 and 25, 2025, and will be a hybrid format. The first day of the meeting will be held virtually—via the Zoom platform—while the second day will be held in person.
The event will feature the participation of representatives from the Secretariat of the Escazú-ECLAC Agreement, the Secretary of Environmental Trials of the Supreme Court of Justice of the Nation, and judges from the Administrative Litigation, Tax and Consumer Relations Courts of the Buenos Aires City Court of Justice.
