LEARN Workshop on Research Data Implementation of policies and strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean

The Fourth LEARN Workshop on Research Data will be hosted by ECLAC in Santiago, Chile on 27 October 2016. This event, titled “Implementation of policies and strategies in Latin America and the Caribbean”, is aimed at providing participants with an opportunity to learn about Latin American experiences in Research Data Management, including policy development and implementation.

A vast range of international speakers will present at the Workshop. It will be an excellent opportunity to get an up-to-date perspective of challenges and strategies, to exchange experiences and to strengthen networks that will increase collaboration and promote the development of Research Data Management in Latin America and the Caribbean.

The workshop will be split into two sessions. The morning session will be devoted to lectures by Keynote speakers and Panel discussions, in which experts will present and discuss the current state of RDM and strategies for its advancement. The afternoon session will be mainly devoted to the exchange of experiences and views among Workshop participants.
