Representatives of 16 Latin American and Caribbean countries participated in the twenty-seventh meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
A document presented by ECLAC was analyzed during the second meeting of the Presiding Officers of the Regional Conference on Social Development in Latin America and the Caribbean, which was held in Panama along with the Tenth Ministerial Forum for Development in Latin America and the Caribbean.
The EU Commissioner for International Cooperation and Development, Neven Mimica, Chilean Foreign Minister Roberto Ampuero and ECLAC’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, participated in a high-level dialogue held in Santiago.
