MAGIC PLUS

The Module for the Analysis of Growth in International Commerce (MAGIC) is analytical software developed by the ECLAC Subregional headquarters in Mexico. It was specifically designed to analyze the post-trade competitiveness of exports to the United States market.The exports and the imports are classified according to the Harmonized System (HS) and data is reported at 2, 4, 6, and 10 digits of the HS. The source for the information is the United States Census Bureau.

CEPALSTAT

CEPALSTAT provides access to statistics and indicators produced by ECLAC Divisions. The user can export data and cross-tabulate indicators to produce tables combining data from different series and/or countries and/or periods. Charts can also be prepared based on the stored data. Metadata containing the definition of the variables, description of the sources, and other relevant characteristics can be consulted and downloaded. Additionally regional and national statistical profiles based on key indicators are available. CEPALSTAT gives also access to statistical publications and  tables included in statistical appendixes of analytical publications produced by ECLAC.

Base de Datos Integrada de Controversias Comerciales de América Latina y el Caribe (BADICC)

BADICC provides access to information on the commercial dispute settlement mechanisms in which the Latin American and Caribbean countries participate. The goal of this database is to facilitate the formulation of commercial policies through a simple access to the relevant information on disputes settlement in the region. BADICC allows detailed searches as well as combining data according to the following criteria: Products and services more consulted, actions taken by countries in the different dispute settlement mechanisms and disputes by theme.

UN Comtrade

The United Nations Commodity Trade Statistics Database (UN Comtrade) stores more than 1 billion trade data records from 1962. Over 140 reporter countries provide the United Nations Statistics Division with their annual international trade statistics detailed by commodities and partner countries. These data are subsequently transformed into the United Nations Statistics Division standard format with consistent coding and valuation using the UN/OECD CoprA internal processing system.
