Seminario Globalización en Latinoamérica: estructuras, conflictos y estrategias
Este seminario, desarrollado en conjunto por la División de Desarrollo Productivo y Empresarial de la CEPAL, por la Corporación de Fomento de la Producción de Chile, CORFO, e InvestChile, busca generar un espacio de discusión e intercambio de ideas del impacto de la globalización sobre las políticas de desarrollo en América Latina, enfatizando sus aspectos tecnológicos, financieros, comerciales y de economía política. Apunta a entender las alternativas y el espacio para las políticas macroeconómicas, industriales y tecnológicas en la región. En este sentido, contará con la participación de destacados académicos de universidades de Europa y Estados Unidos, Mario Báez, Jan Kregel, Ben Ross Schneider, Beverly Silver y Bart Verspagen, así como de expertos y analistas de la región.

The United Nations regional organization’s Executive Secretary presented the book Rethinking Development in Latin America and the Caribbean: Contributions from the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) on its 75th Anniversary at the eighth meeting of the Forum on Sustainable Development, which is being held in Chile.
