The Hernán Santa Cruz Library, located at the headquarters of ECLAC in Santiago, is a unique space for research. Since 1948, it has supported the work of the Commission and provided access to specialized resources on the economic and social development of Latin America and the Caribbean. The Library is open to students, academics, researchers, public officials, diplomats, and the wider community for academic and research purposes. 

To visit us, we invite you to schedule an appointment by completing the online form at least two days in advance. It's quick and easy! Please note that, as part of ECLAC's security policy, only visitors who have registered in advance are allowed to enter the premises. 

Upon arrival, you must present a valid ID to obtain a temporary pass and go through the standard security check.
