With the publication of their population censuses running under the REDATAM engine, INIDE gives a bold step in the statistical history of the country, since the online query system provide updated information on the socio-economic, demographic and agricultural sectors. The goal of Nicaraguans is to have access to these important sources of information for better economic development and policy making

INIDE has published the following censuses:- 2001, VII Censo de Población y III de Vivienda.- 2003, III Censo Nacional Agropecuario.- 2008, VIII Censo de Población y IV de Vivienda en el 2006
