Declaration on Political Harassment and Violence against Women was adopted during the Sixth Conference of the States Parties to the Convention of Belém do Pará, in the City of Lima, Peru on October 15, 2015, by the Competent Authorities of the Follow-Up Mechanism to the Inter-American Convention on the Prevention, Punishment and Eradication of Violence Against Women, Belém do Pará Convention (MESECVI).
In this Declaration, the Committee of Experts of the MESECVI calls attention to the links between violence against women and girls and their sexual and reproductive rights.
