On Thursday, October 2, 2025, the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), in co-organization with the Embassy of the United States in Santiago, will host a high-level event at ECLAC headquarters in Chile to explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) as a driver of productivity and economic transformation in the Americas.
The program will open with remarks from the co-organizers, followed by a keynote address by Gaurav Tewari, Founder & Managing Partner of Omega Venture Partners, who will share insights on global and U.S. paradigms of AI-driven productivity growth.
A structured panel discussion will bring together experts from across the region to examine opportunities and challenges for leveraging AI in productivity strategies, with emphasis on technological adoption, innovation ecosystems, and policy frameworks that foster inclusive and sustainable growth.
The event will conclude with a networking reception, offering participants a space to exchange perspectives and build partnerships around the transformative potential of AI for the Americas.
