The preparatory meeting for the Second meeting of the Conference of the Parties to the Escazú Agreement (preCOP2) will take place virtually on 6 March 2023 between 11 a.m. and 1.30 p.m. Santiago, Chile time.

The matters to be addressed at the extraordinary meeting of the Conference of the Parties being held in Buenos Aires, from 19-21 April 2023, will be discussed. These include the election of the inaugural members of the Committee to Support Implementation and Compliance and consider any other matter decided by the Parties.
