The UN regional commission’s Executive Secretary, Alicia Bárcena, and the Foreign Minister of Costa Rica, Rodolfo Solano, participated in a meeting of the High-level Political Forum on Sustainable Development 2021, focused on listening to messages from the regions.
Alicia Bárcena, ECLAC’s Executive Secretary, participated today in the opening session of a month-long event entitled Development in Transition: Dialogues to chart new paths for Latin America and the Caribbean, where she called for adopting a multidimensional measure of development.
The event took place at the Nation’s Ministry of Productive Development and featured the presence of the Governor of Santiago del Estero, Gerardo Zamora, and the Minister of Productive Development, Matías Kulfas.
