¿Precios y progreso? El vínculo entre la inflación y el cambio estructural en el Brasil de posguerra

En este artículo se utiliza un modelo de serie cronológica de múltiples variables para examinar la relación entre el aumento de los precios y el cambio estructural en el Brasil de posguerra (1945-1964). Para evaluar esta relación, mediante el modelo se investiga el vínculo entre los precios, la participación de la industria en la producción total de la economía, la inversión neta y los salarios del sector industrial. Productive development policy for Chile: an alternative to stagnation

Since 1998, Chile has been experiencing a significant slowdown in its economic growth. The Chilean economy’s recent poor performance is attributable to a halt in productive and export diversification around the beginning of the twenty-first century. State interventions have been horizontal, eschewing those to support specific industries. The main drivers of arabica coffee prices in Latin America

This paper analyzes the determinants of arabica green coffee prices in Latin American countries using a time series analysis and panel data methods. For this purpose, we construct a panel of different coffee prices: Coffee Organization (ICO) composite prices for Brazilian Naturals, Colombian Milds, and Other Milds; prices paid by the Federación Nacional de Cafeteros de Colombia (FNC) to coffee growers; and farm gate prices by country.
