**** Event postponed **** Organized by the Government of Grenada and the United Nations Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean, the seminar aims to raise awareness on the Escazú Agreement and its synergies with the 2030 Agenda and other international processes, review the role of civil society and other interested stakeholders in the Escazú Agreement and discuss the challenges and opportunities of the Regional Agreement to support the ratification process in Grenada.

Given its strong commitment and experience with environmental access rights, Grenada is especially well placed for the implementation of the regional agreement. The present seminar will seek to provide a general overview of the content and importance of the regional agreement, as well as analyze the role of civil society and the implementation of the Escazú Agreement from the perspective of civil society organizations and other interested stakeholders in view of the possible ratification by Grenada.
