Economia circular
The circular economy is a transformational model of production and consumption which involves optimization of resources, technological innovation and the development of new business models that reduce resource extraction and dependence on imported inputs in global production and supply chains. To leverage the positive effects of the circular economy, there is a need for training and research, development of information systems, and coordination and cooperation between actors, while trade agreements offer an opportunity to include the principles and criteria of circularity.
