Global antidumping activity peaked in 2001, with 366 petitions initiated world-wide, and rapidly diminished to just 163 cases in 2007. With the onset of the current major world-wide recession, some observers feared that antidumping usage would climb dramatically; however, antidumping activity shows little change compared to previous years. Nevertheless, antidumping has largely become a problem of the developing world, both in terms of major importing country users and of targets.

User Handbook for the Observatory of Trade and Integration in Central America

In summary, this is the advanced stage of the work carried out by various officials of the ECLAC Division of International Trade and Integration between 2005 and 2010.
