Avanzar en la igualdad de género supone concebir una planificación y gestión de la ciudad que acoja las necesidades de quienes son cuidados y de quienes cuidan, en una gran mayoría, mujeres. Para esto es imperativo un desarrollo urbano inclusivo, que aborde la ciudad no solo como un territorio de producción y consumo, sino también en tanto espacio de ejercicio de derechos ciudadanos y lugar de reproducción de la vida cotidiana, ámbito en el cual las labores de cuidado son fundamentales.
