The manufacturing industry remains at the centre of technological innovation, international trade growth and economic expansion. The countries of Latin America and the Caribbean face significant challenges to further industrial development, particularly because of the weak implementation of structural change policies that could boost modern and high productivity sectors.

<p>El <strong>objetivo general</strong> de este taller es aprovechar las potencialidades que ofrecen los censos de población y vivienda para generar indicadores que apoyen la toma de decisiones informadas en diversos ámbitos de la planificación y el desarrollo, sobre la base de la ronda censal 2020. <em>Este enfoque busca fortalecer las capacidades de los participantes para utilizar REDATAM y QGis, dos herramientas gratuitas ampliamente utilizadas en la creación de indicadores.</em></p>
