Abstract
The forum “Mainstreaming the Gender Perspective in International Development Cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean” was held by ECLAC in Santiago, Chile, at the second session of the Regional Conference on South-South Cooperation in Latin America and the Caribbean. The forum brought together specialists from foreign ministries, international development cooperation agencies and institutions, the United Nations system and international organizations, and regional development banks to share their experiences and proposals to increase cooperation and financing to achieve gender equality and mainstream the gender perspective in cooperation policies and programmes.
