Le 29 juin dernier, une réunion technique s'est tenue à Jacmel, en Haïti, où la Plateforme « Protection et Promotion Sociale en Haïti » a été officiellement lancée afin d’améliorer les capacités techniques des cadres du Ministère des Affaires Sociales et du Travail (MAST), entité en charge de la mise en œuvre de la Politique Nationale de Protection et de Promotion Sociales de ce pays des Caraïbes.

The Gender Affairs Division of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) participated in the symposium organized by the Institute of International and Strategic Relations (IRIS) in partnership with the French Development Agency (AFD), entitled: The role of women in the transformation of Latin American societies.
