El análisis aborda las brechas de inversión directa (IED) de calidad y propone un conjunto de indicadores que midan la calidad de la IED en México, Estas van ligadas al concepto de heterogeneidad estructural, polarizaciones entre espacios, grupos sociales y actividades económicas avanzadas y modernas, por un lado, y atrasadas y marginadas por el otro. Contribuir a cerrar estas brechas es el objetivo del desarrollo tratando que los sectores superen sus restricciones y reduzcan las desigualdades del país.
