The Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC) is participating in the 28th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP28), a crucial milestone in the fight against the climate and ecological crisis, which is taking place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, from 30 November to 12 December. The ECLAC delegation is headed by José Manuel Salazar-Xirinachs, Executive Secretary of the regional body, who will participate in various sessions of the global forum.
