The twelfth session of the Regional Conference on Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, organized by ECLAC and the Government of the Dominican Republic, will be held from 15 to 18 October 2013 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
"We declare that we will prosecute crimes against women - and never allow women to be subjected to punishments for the abuses they have suffered", says the UN Secretary-General, Ban Ki-moon.
