The Presiding Officers of the Regional Council for Planning of the Latin American and Caribbean Institute for Economic and Social Planning (ILPES) meet every two years to review the progress of work and fulfilment of the resolutions adopted by the Council, the main intergovernmental body steering the work of the Institute

The Regional Planning Council, at its XX Meeting held in Brasilia on October 2 and 3, 2025, agreed on the following composition of the Presiding Officers: 

Chair: Brazil 
Members: Chile, Guatemala, Jamaica, Panama, Dominican Republic, St. Kitts and Nevis, Uruguay 

This Presiding Officers board will continue to perform its duties until the next Meeting of the Regional Planning Council, scheduled for 2027.
