Launch of the South American and Andean Subregional Input-Output Matrix

On August 23, 2017, as part of the 90-year celebration of the creation of the Central Bank of Ecuador, ECLAC presented the South American Input-Output Matrix for 2005 and the Andean Subregional Input-Output Matrix for 2005 and 2011 in Quito, Ecuador. These tools will enable policymakers and analysts to identify productive chains and analyze the effects of changes in the final demand for goods and services on production and employment. During the event, the Central Bank of Ecuador presented the Ecuadorian Social Accounting Matrix for 2007 and 2014.
