"Workshop Temporary Admission Regime in Uruguay"

Montevideo, Uruguay, November 15, 2006
The
Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC), with
the financial support of the Canadian International Development Agency
(CIDA/ACDI), in collaboration with the Ministry of Economy and Finance
of Uruguay, organized this seminar in Montevideo, Uruguay, on 15
November 2006.
The goal of the workshop was to present and
discuss the results of the study prepared by Maria Ines Terra, project
consultant, titled "Temporary Admission Regime in Uruguay". The
workshop was attended by 80 participants including high-ranking
government officials, a wide array of private sector participants and
academia.
