Regional Seminar on the implementation of the SDG indicators: "Progress in the development of the follow-up framework for the 2030 Agenda of the Latin America and the Caribbean countries"

Jointly organized by ECLAC and the United Nations Statistics Division on the occasion of the XVI Meeting of the Executive Committee of the Statistical Conference of the Americas of the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (SCA / ECLAC).

The objective of the seminar is to share and reflect with the directors of the national statistical offices of the countries of the region and other statistical agencies participating in the SCA/ECLAC on the processes of design and construction of the frameworks of indicators for monitoring SDG of the 2030 Agenda at the international, regional and national level, and address the associated statistical challenges.

The seminar is developed within the framework of the activities proposed in the United Nations Development Account Programmes on Statistics and Data, which seeks to strengthen the National Statistical Systems to respond to the information challenges arising from the implementation of the 2030 Agenda.

Practical information

This seminar will be held in the Celso Furtado conference room at the headquarters of ECLAC, located at Av. Dag Hammarskjöld 3477, Vitacura, Santiago. Access is also possible via the entrance at Av. Alonso de Córdova 3170.
